About Russ
Russ was first introduced to computer programming at the age of 10, and he has been a student of computer science ever since. A native of southern Utah, Russ graduated from Pine View High School in 1995 as valedictorian and a National Merit Scholar. He moved to Massachusetts to attend Harvard University, where he graduated magna cum laude in Computer Science in 2001. He worked as a software engineer in the Boston area before moving to England, where he received a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge in 2007.
Russ lives in Saint George with his wife and their two daughters.
