What to Expect:Any time constraints can be worked with, and this will be as informal as possible. Any work done can be used in portfolios. This will likely transition into a lucrative career if successful. Any interested students with coding backgrounds or mobile dev skills should reach out ASAP. Shoot us a text/email to learn more.
Once-in-a-Lifetime Opportunity:With the help of the university, Broox Anderson and Brian Jones have received a provisional patent for an innovative mobile app. They are now seeking students in the CIT program to help build it. They are currently set up as a business, backed by the university, and want to begin offering equity to students interested in sharing this success with them. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and they have the resources of Dr. Provost and the Dixie State TIE Center behind them.
About us:Broox Anderson is a recent graduate (Dec 2017) from the integrated studies program focusing in marketing and humanities. He currently interns at a new marketing firm in St. George called Venture Creative, working with clients like the Larry H. Miller Utah Summer Games and Imagine Dragons (yep!). Broox’s expertise is in branding, creativity, and entrepreneurship. He is the original owner of the idea. Brian Jones is a senior at Dixie State University studying biology, looking toward the healthcare industry. He’s been excited to branch out a bit and try something new. Brian is a great people person with lots of retail experience. As far as hobbies go Brian likes hiking and playing pickleball with his wife. Brian says, “I'm the lucky project partner who got in on the idea.”
